How to calculate GPA?
In calculating a student’s grade-point average (GPA), the total number of quality points accumulated by the student is divided by the total number of GPA hours at Clemson during the semester, session, or other period for which the grade-point average is calculated. For each credit hour, the student receives quality points as follows: A-4, B-3, C-2, D-1. No quality points are assigned for grades F, I, P, NP or W.
